Manipal University Jaipur Marks Founder’s Day with Visionary Legacy and Launch of New Academic Programs
Manipal University Jaipur celebrates Founder’s Day marking Dr. T. M. A. Pai’s 128th birth anniversary, highlighting his educational legacy while announcing new industry-focused undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the 2026–27 academic session.
The solemn yet inspiring occasion reflected deep respect and gratitude for a visionary who believed education is not a privilege but a powerful force for societal change. Dr. Pai’s legacy, rooted in inclusivity, excellence, and service, continues to influence generations by fostering opportunity, hope, and progress through education.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Niti Nipun Sharma, President of the university, emphasized the enduring relevance of Dr. Pai’s ideals. She stated that his vision extended far beyond his time and continues to guide the institution’s mission today. She highlighted that the university not only remembers his legacy but actively advances it through continuous efforts to nurture aspirations and transform lives.
On the occasion, Dr. Amit Soni, Registrar of the university, announced the introduction of several new undergraduate and postgraduate programs for the academic session 2026–27. These programs have been developed in response to evolving industry demands and aim to equip students with future-ready skills and knowledge.
The newly introduced academic offerings include Bachelor of Technology in Fashion Technology, Master of Business Administration in Real Estate Management, Master of Technology in Computational Biology, Master of Science in Mathematics and Computing, and a Bachelor of Science Honours with Research dual degree program in Physics, Chemistry, or Mathematics in collaboration with University of Melbourne.
The dual degree initiative provides students an opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science Honours with Research from Manipal University Jaipur along with a Bachelor of Science Advanced Honours from the University of Melbourne, ensuring international exposure and enhanced research opportunities. The programs are designed with a balanced focus on theoretical knowledge, practical application, and research-driven learning.
University officials stated that these courses have been curated in consultation with industry experts and academic leaders to ensure alignment with current and future workforce requirements. The programs emphasize contemporary curriculum, experiential learning, strong internship support, placement opportunities, and mentorship from experienced faculty alongside global collaborations.
Admissions for the upcoming academic session are currently open, with prospective students invited to apply for these newly launched programs.
